Hello all writelog users. I am currently trying to interface an external
voice keyer NA type interface connected to the parallel port of the
computer.

Writelog will key the port for the different messages I want to send, but
cannot get the keyer to trip.

Can someone tell me what I am supposed to see, regarding voltage change, at
the parallel port.

I have built two different style interfaces using 2n3904's and 2n2222's.

It seems that the port voltage change happens VERY quickly and won't trigger
the switch xistors.

The voice keyer requires the message line to transition within .2v of
ground, but doesn't specify for how long. If I manually short the voice
keyer message lines to ground for a brief time, it works flawlessly.

Any information, more computer related, would be appreciated, as the
Writelog product is well worth the time interfacing for all the nice added
features.

Thanks in advance
