What specifically do you mean when you say "WL simply trips the
PTT"? What button did you press on WL? What did you expect it to do?
What does "WL can't find it for display" mean? How is your WL
Setup Ports configured? What WL window(s) are you looking at?
What menu did you select? etc. etc. etc.

Did you try WL's "Sound Board Mixer Control" icon in its Windows
Start Menu group? How did you set it up?

Got a new Dell Dimension 4100 - 1ghz - 256Mb with a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
soundcard. Soundboard check received a 7F.

Playing CD's or just double-clicking on .wav files in WL's WaveFiles
subdirectory play fine and trip the VOX. WL simply trips PTT for a second
and that's it. Does the same thing when a F key is set to a nonexistent .wav
file. No error message, just PTT for a second. Line in is connected and
passing CW/RTTY to the speakers but WL can't find it for display.

Rig is an IC-746. OS is Windows 2000 SP1.

Any ideas appreciated. I am free to run further tests any evening.
