I am using two KAMPLUS TNCs for two RTTY stations. For some reason when I
type a transmit string in the type ahead buffer and then look in the RTTY
window to see what has been locally echoed I discover that about 1 in 20
characters has been dropped. These may be near the beginning of the string
or later on. Folks on the receiving end verify the characters are missing
over the air as well. In general the "drops" are not adjacent. Has anyone
else experienced this and cured it?

I am using the same two radio setup under LOGICW and do not have the dropped
character problem.

I notice Writelog puts the KAM into Host Mode if the TNC type is set to KAM.
I am told the KAM will work correctly only if set to TERMINAL mode. Can
anyone comment on this and perhaps tell me how to select the TNC as KAM but
arrange for the KAM to go into TERM mode?
