[WriteLog] TS 570 internal DRU control

Has anyone figured how to send the codes to the Kenwood TS570 through the
serial port to trigger the recorded messages in the DRU option in the 570?
It looks like a simple (ASCII?) PB 1,2,or 3 would touch them off.

Can it be done? or am I wasting my time?
