You have to check CommPTT YES in the SETUP|PORTS menu and have the FT-1000MP selected, of course. There is also a Sync choice, but I've never needed this with my MPs. Of course, tthere's not much reason to use CAT PTT unless you're running AFSK. If you've made a com port cable for FSK, then you might as well use another wire and get the PTT there also. |
