David, I do know what you're saying.  And when I first tried it out I
thought it meant that one radio in two entry windows didn't work.  But even
in S&P both windows  _ will_  actually be logging the exact frequency.  To
me that's really the main point -- an accurate log.  And it's great to jump
from MMTTY over to the ST-8000 when the copy is better, and then back and
forth as needed.   Worth the small visual inconvenience.

Yes, the little entry window freq readout lags, but over several contests
I've learned to just ignore the freq pushbutton and get on with working 'em
. No need to reselect the radio port.   .

This takes a little getting used to.  It would be nice if the visible freq
readout was always up to the minute.  But WL knows and gets it right.  As it
is, this solution maybe not ideal, but still very workable.
