This might be of interest to someone.
I bought a generic sound card, $15.00, for use in Windows 2000. The box =
is identified as "PCI Sound Card" (!). On the back of the box it says =
SC1938 (ESS Solo-1).
It self installed in W2K. WL/MMTTY work perfectly.
