I'm having a problem switching the microphone between the left
and right radios. I'm using a Heil headset that I have the mic
plugged into the soundcard, and a Y cable that has 1/4" stereo
on one end (going in the soundcard) and two RCA's on the other.
This runs into a box that contains 1:1 audio transformers. Another
cable connects between the transformer and the Heil adapter
plugging into the radio.

When switching between left and right radios, there is a noticeable
difference in output through the soundcard, but it quite enough to
key both radios while running VOX. Watching the "mixer control",
everything seems to be switching properly.

The computer is a Compaq 800 Mhz machine using the onboard=20
sound board that checked out at 7f.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
