Using telnet and spot window.

If I do a spot it shows up but goes away as soon as I log the station. Is
that correct?

- Of course. Hate to double click on the same spot to work a dupe!

What are the different colors on the spots? Some are black and some are red.

- You will see black ones as in the band you are working in and red ones as
out of band. Click the box with 'In-band only' and see the difference.

What does the frequency mean. If I click on spots they are seldom right. The
actual signal is usually about 2 Khz higher, yet if I spot it myself it
shows the correct dial frequency. Is this because some use AFSK and others
use FSK? If so, it would be nice for the spot window to calculate this
offset.

- As said in a different note: I challenge anyone to program it so that the
receiving station somehow knows that the transmitting station is sending
AFSK or FSK. Think about it. Like sending CW on a straight key or a
paddle...
