: don't you
find anything but nice having to erase ALL WARC bands spots??? I got tired
asking for that, just to get replies like:

         -Use DXTelnet.
-Filter the spots directly in the cluster, so I must set filters
just to use one software, and then revert the situation to any other, or
have to FAKE a different cluster callsign if I have my logging software for
"not-contest" spots.

end snip

There is an easy way to do this. Use the Edit Subbands program. Any band
included in the selected subband file will have it's spots shown in the
packet spot window. Edit the frequency range of each band that you want to
use for *THIS* contest to only the frequencies of interest. For example, you
might delete ALL WARC bands, and limit the frequencies to only the nominal
CW band for a CW contest. Then rename the subband to say CQWWCW and select
it for use. Then in Writelog, select "show inband spots" in the packet
window. You can create a named sub band file for each contest or contest
type that you enter, including one for general operation. You just have to
remember to select a new file when setting up for the next contest, and it
needs to be done using the Edit Subbands program.
