You can also built up this interface by yourself !
It's only a level conversion from TTL (Rig) to RS232.
Basically,all you need is a MAX232.
The Bavarian Contest Club wrote an actical about a
Kenwood <-> PC Interface. It's written in german
language, but the schematics, part lists and layout
print for a PCB are included.
It should be on the BCC Website in the folder "projects".

Its big advantage of this interface is the galvanic
insulation, which is realised with an optocoupler.
