In this last weekend NAQP I had 3 separate glitches in 4 hours of operating.
All involved no mouse or keyboard response. First time it recovered by
itself and went back to working. I don't know how the 2nd time recovered as
I was trying everything. The third time I discovered by hitting escape all
came back. I have never had this problem before. I am using 10.36G, XP and
LPT1 keying. No certain what is going on here but would be interested in
finding out.
On another note; concerning the competition: I have downloaded MM and
tried it out. It is impressive but I feel that Writelog is more stable; this
past weekend not withstanding! I have been using Writelog since late 1999
when in the spring of 99 I lost a first place finish ARRL CW because of
screw-up with running NA in a DOS window in WIN 98. I use a dual video card
computer and WL is great spread out over two 17 in screens. My next goal is
to move into RTTY contesting... my next new world. Cul 73's Cort
