I don't think it's a crazy idea, either...

I use and enjoy Writelog with radio control and keying, but have friends who
are intimidated by all these features.  A "lite" version might be ideal for
some Field Day groups that feel computer logging is "too complicated"

...But I'd only pay half-price.  How about "Shareware?'
