[WriteLog] Red box problem

Hi WLers

Out of the blue, while making a few Quos in CAM last weekend I found out (
very quickly!), that although the little red box appears on cue, so that
when I hit DX1D<RETURN>X as usual only DX1D was sent. This is a problem that
has afflicted me off and on over the years in various modules, but now,
every module in the book is affected. I cannot see what I can have done to
induce this, but the implication is that something must have changed.

Any suggestions welcome
