Hi all.
I just downloaded, registered and installed Writelog. Will be using it with
a TT Orion once that rig support is completed, but in the mean time, I want
to be able to at least use WL to key the rig.
The rig is on COM 5 via USB-Serial adapter.
On Com 2, I have a Donner's interface which is connected to the rig's PTT.
Com 1 has rotor control.
Problem is I cannot get it to key the rig. I went into Port setup and chose
Com 2 for CW and checked the PTT CW send via RTS. Also selected to send CW
via PC GENERATES.
Under CW PTT, I chose send via COM RTS.
It is keying the rig, but not sending any CW. When I open the cw
keyboard, and type test, the rig keys like it is long enough to send TEST
and then unkeys. But no CW.
I know I must have something simple set up incorrectly, but can't find it.
OP system is Win 98SE
