I have a MK-1100 MultiKeyer that works fine when generating CW from computer
commands, but it seems to have developed a problem when I use the manual
keyer paddle input. The problem is subtle, but annoying, to say the least.
It's as though the keyer occasionally stutters. It will momentarily hang on
or not quickly initiate a code element. It completely throws your rhythm
off, even though the delay is very brief.

For a while, I began to question my ability to handle an iambic paddle
anymore, but when I plug the paddle directly into the keyer built into the
rig, the problem goes away and I have no problem sending flawless 40+ wpm
cw. (Yes, I turn the internal keyer off when I use the MK-1100 to key the
rig)

Maybe I just have a failed MK-1100, but I'm wondering if anyone else has
experienced this problem and found any solutions.
