Indeed it was a request on how to get a usb to lpt port to work for
Writelog. I side stepped the problem by having the com port do both rig
control and cw. The Targus likes Com 4 for this.

Typically the USB-LPT aapters I have seen can only be used with a printer
and will not work for other LPT port uses/functions. But, if someone has
found a way to get A USB-LPT adapter to function as an LPT port in WriteLog,
I'm sure several will be interested in how to do this.
