Ken,

You change the namedmul.ini file for the particular contest you are concerned with.

If you download the latest version of the file from the Writelog web site all of this is done for you already.

Except for the DX. Why would you want to do that????? Since DX stations are usually counted as mulitpliers in a different way (from the courntries list), I don't think entering DX in the QTH field would be proper.

In the event you want to put just "DX" in that field and have it act like a mulitiplier - you just enter DX under the mulitplier group for each contest. Or if you do not want DX to count as a multiplier, just type it in and log the qso.

If you just want to type something into the QTH field and have it logged, then just change the size of the field in the Exchange Format setup. Although I have seen some data validation going on in the background such that a number could not be entered (like VY2).
