All,

With Sweepstakes just around the corner, here are four WriteLog hints to make
your set up easier:

1. The SS message setup is complicated and you undoubtably spent a lot of time
last year getting it perfected. This year, use the same messages you worked
hard on to perfect. In Setup|CW/SSB/RTTY Messages, open the dialog box and
click on 'browse.' Find last year's contest log file and click on it and presto
chango, your messages come into the current SS contest.

2. Last year you spent a whole lot of time getting the windows positioned just
right too. This year, use one of WriteLog's new features and import the window
positions. Go to 'Contest' (I think, I'm in an airport right now!), select
'Recover Window Layout' and select last years contest. Presto chango, your
windows are all in place.

3. Want to have those complicated exchanges from the other person default for
you in this year's contest? Use WriteLog's new feature of importing an ADI file
from last years contest and presto, chango, all of last years information is
loaded before you start this years contest. Note: you have to Export last years
contest into an ADI format for this to work. And, as they say in the stock
market, past performance is no guarantee of future performance. You still need
to copy the exchange!

4. Get the latest abbreviations (Named Multipliers) by downloading the latest
file at www.writelog.com.

Remember, you can always set up WriteLog using 'Universal Setup' at the
http://www.k9jy.com site.
