Following the minute panic in respect of changes to five Oblasts I have
received today the 2003 Booklet covering last years contest in much detail.
Contained in the data is a full list of Oblasts with lots on data on each
area. I noticed in addition to the 5-last week a new one appeared in the
list.
Ryazanskaya Obl was RA now RZ (R*3S) this had puzzled me since 2-stations
worked used the new reference which Writelog did not recognise
and I was convinced I had read the exchange correctly. I made notes during
the contest for any QSO's which Writelog disputed.
Several stations worked used the Old References and this has resulted in
those QSO's being downgraded to basic points (Not-10 Point QSO's) and has
also missed any Oblast multiplier Credits.
