I have found the problem is not in WriteLog nor in the Orion, per se; I
switched from the Dell Insprion Notebook (Win XP) to a new Toshiba (Win XP
Media Center), that has no com port, but installed a Belkin USB to Serial
Port, Installed Writelog 47E (completely new install), and now, I can see
both the radio, and WriteLog does NOT interfere with the Orion Keyer.
I'm going back to see if I can isolate the problem on the Insprion by a full
uninstall of WriteLog and a reinstall, and also see if using the USB to COM,
rather than the installed Com, was the problem and will keep you informed;
I'll also post my results to correct my earlier posting.
