[WriteLog] program to new computer

Ok guys, I'm a computer moron....I want to transfer my writelog program  from 
an old win 98 machine, to a new Xp machine. How do I do this? I copied all  
of the files to cd, put them in a new folder in the new computer, but, how do I 
 get the dang thing to work? Do I need to download it again, & get a new  
registration code?
