Hello,
Need help in getting the pieces and parts hooked up for SO2R, but ran into
a problem trying to get both radios to be seen by WL. The following is
situation:
Trying to get SO2R with WL but seem to only be able to get a single radio
to work even with two radio checked on the "Number of Radio"
pull-down. One radio is connected to comm 3 and the other to 4. Using
W98SE and WL V10.53E. IC746s are the radios. "Ports-What is Connected" has
the "All mode PTT on CW port RTS" checked. Also, "Comm PTT" is "Yes" for
both radios.
What happens is when comm 3 is selected (Set-up > Ports), radio 1 can
receive and xmit, but radio 2 is locked in xmit mode. Vice versa when comm
4 is selected. With the "Ports-What is Connected" "All mode PTT on CW port
RTS" not checked, both radios are locked in xmit mode. Changing the active
radio, cursor up or down, does not free up the radio locked in transmit mode.
The "Ports-What is Connected" view in "Help" is different from the V10.53E
"Ports-What is Connected". V10.53 doesn't have the "Rig" column.
Also, WL is not reading the 2nd radio's freq. and displaying it. Other S/W
programs read and display the 2nd radio's freq. (CAT) okay.
