All,
Thanks for all the hints. I was able to use msconfig (which I have used
millions of times in the past but could not think of it) to stop the
automatic loading of several programs. The trick to msconfig is clicking on
the message that tells you to not show this message and don't start
msconfig on load. Otherwise you go in circles.
Will write down all this info for the next dead brain session, hi
