[WriteLog] TS2000 and rig control

I will refine my post - those who use a TS 2000 and
connect directly from the PC to the rig - what do
you use for rig control?  

My serial-serial (DB9) doesn't give me rig control 
directly (I do get it thru the W5XD keyer.)
I am stumped.
