How old is the PIEXX board? I remember the early ones had a problem working
with a particular program and it might have been WL. There was an upgrade
offered, probably firmware. If it's an oldie you might contact the
manufacturer about it.

Well, I'm totally flummoxed.

NOT yet working and I've verified and tried every switch combination on the
Piexx board. Made sure that the WL and Windows Ports matched the baud rate.

Using the 2nd PC, running Windows 98 & WL 10.50d On the UX-14 Piexx board:
   Switched to 4800 Baud.
   Turned off the Transcieve mode.
Turned off the Smart Band Switch mode.
Turn off the RS-232 echo mode.

Each of these features performed as advertised, EXCEPT the rig WILL NOT go
to Frequency or Mode as commanded by WL.

Is my radio busted? Is the Piexx i/f busted? Probably not as I CAN command
the rig using other software (Logger32, N1MM logger, DF4OR's CI-V test
program).

The only thing I can think to do is take the rig over to someone elses QTH
and see if my rig will work there.

Hopelessly and totally disgruntled and frustrated. Maybe its time to put
this rig away and concentrate on getting the IC-765 up and interfaced to WL.
