Richard and Bob,

Remember that the FT1000mp (and I don't know for sure about the Mark 
version) has a firmware bug that drops the CW PTT when commanded via the 
CAT interface by WL. This is not a WL problem. I have always had to use an 
external PTT signal to get CW to work on the FT1000mp.
