OK I spent quite awhile pouring ovet this and came up with that one 
keyclick I was looking for. I was looking for a spot to check/uncheck 
for single op to keep packet spots from showing. While perusing the K9JY 
site I saw a screen shot of the packet terminal window with the edit 
pull down menu open. There it was a plaec to check for single op. I 
don't know how mine got checked but it is all fixed now. Thanks for the 
help.
