Hi Wayne,
Conditions pretty poor here in Washington. I haven't heard any real high 
QSO numbers either. It does get better. Probably the most fun you can 
have in a RTTY Contest is in the RTTY WPX in February. In that one, 
prefixes are multipliers, so you will be RARE DX! Everybody will dig you 
out of the noise with your vertical. So hang in. We all start somewhere. 
I looked for you on the freqs you posted but didn't hear you. And you're 
right about some stations that call CQ endlessly but never seem to hear 
anybody answer them. Most ops are pretty good, though.
