I just checked how N1MM works, and it clears the RIT and leaves it on, so it
does it correctly.

Jerry,
So what has to be changed in Writelog to use the "RC" command to clear the
clarifier?

Jim,
That is what I concluded was going on with my FT2000 during the RU. The %O
function seems to turn RIT Off instead of RIT Clear.
There is a new command format for the newer Yaesu radios using ASCII
commands like the Kenwoods did, instead of fixed block commands like my
FT-1000mp did.
So I see there is an "RC" command that supposedly clears the Clarifier.
There is an "RT" command that turns the Clarifier Off or On. And an "RU"
command to set a plus offset for RIT and an "RD" command that sets a minus
offset for Clarifier (RIT and Tx Clar????)
The radio is acting like an "RT" command was being sent by %O for the
FT2000 instead of an "RC"???
