Last Nov. I put out a message about a radio driver for the IC-7600 in DXB as
I was going to get one for Xmas. In response, Jim KE4WY sent me the profile
below for adding the IC-7600 to the radios.ini file which I did. I now have
the IC-7600 running and made my first QSO's today in the ARRL SKN event.
The 7600 profile seemed to work ok, but I couldn't get the radio to QSY to
the frequency of spots coming into DXB. I have a few other programs
running, the microHAM router for the MicrokeyerII and Writelog, that work
using the driver for the IC-7800. So I just went into the radios.ini file
and modified the IC-7800 profile there by changing the hex code from 6A to
7A which is the default for the 7600. In DXB User Options I changed the
radio to the IC-7800. Now when I click on a spot the IC-7600 responds and
QSY's to that frequency and mode. Have any other IC-7600 users run into the
profile problem in the radios.ini file? If so, what was your work around?

73,
Gary AL9A
