Hi Pete, I've never experienced it with Writelog, but sometimes
when Windows starts downloading updates in the background, or a
virus program starts an update and scan, that can cause slow response.
Try using the Windows Task Manager and see which program is using
excessive cycles or memory. Good Luck,
