Are there any COM ports which are not present?
You can find out by opening a CMD window
(from the Start menu select Run and type in CMD).
At the window use these commands:
set DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES=1
devmgmt.msc
This will start device manager but it will show
devices which are not present. You may see some
serial ports that you can delete. I don't know
if it will help.
