I have Writelog 11.04a installed on a Windows 7 machine, under 'Writelog
Audio Compression Setup' under 'format' I don't have MPEG (Layer 3) or some
of the other formats that were available on my Windows XP machine.
The Only formats available are:
CCITT A-law
CCITT u-law
GSM 6.10
IMA ADPCM
Messenger Audio Codec
Microsoft ADPCM
PCM
Choosing PCM with attribute 11,025 KHz, 8bit, stereo 21 kb/sec, playback
of the recorded audio file does not work on some devices (e.g. Apple
ipad/iphone with OS 5.1.1).
The W7 machine does have windows media player installed (I read the K9JY
notes about this).
One thing I have noticed, when starting Writelog I get an error notice:
'Writelog Sound Error on echo microphone. Capture thread exception: No
common format available'
Anyone know what might be going on here ?
