I am setting up a new computer for KA1KIX with MMTTY and Writelog. I have
used this combination for years and never had this problem. At the end of a
transmit, for instance calling CQ with a macro or FKEYS, which I use, at the
end of completion the software continues to transmit for five(5) seconds
with just a tone. With the RTTY Rite using FSK it doesn't to it, it stops
when it reaches the %E as it should.

Searching the archives I found no mention of this occurring, so does anyone
know of this and how would it be corrected.

Thanks,
Nick

I just purchased Writelog via paypal and am trying to install it. To do so,
I need the registration code. Where do I find that? I've looked carefully
at everything that went by me during the purchase and nowhere can I find a
registration code.

Thanks in advance,

Bruce Sawyer, N6NT

My apologies to all for taking up the bandwidth earlier today. Steve, AI9T
was the first one to come back and tell me to look in my spam folder. Sure
enough, there was email in there from Writelog with the registration code.
I'm up and running now.but continuing to receive lots of email telling me to
go look in my spam folder. I got it!

Thanks to all for the help.

Bruce, N6NT

It is a good thing I wasn't charging myself by the hour for labor!!!

Thanks for all the suggestions and the solution was kind of by accident.

I have two IC756pro3 radios. (Networked for M/S or SO2R)To make a long
story short, one was back from the shop where there was a hard reset done
and it was put in its place in my shack.

Accordingly the CI-V address is suppose to be 6Eh for a 756pro3 which is
where I set both radios. For some reason I remembered that there was a 50h
address floating around, maybe for one of the radios? I changed the address
on the radio with the band map problem, from 6Eh to 50h and it works
great. Not sure why 1 radio has 6Eh and the other identical radio has 50h,
but that is what it takes to make it work. Band map now functions as it
should.

Thanks again for the suggestions
Ken W0LSD
