I hate to bother all of you with this question and it may sound dumb but I'm
either going to buy an ft-1000mp or ts-870s this week. my question is for
ssb dx or contesting why is the ft-1000mp considered the better rig? Would I
regret getting the $500 cheaper rig when it came to proformance. The
senstivity of both seems the same and you don't need the optional filters
with the kenwood. As this is a major purchase for most of this I want to do
it right the first time. Thanks in advance for the help
