       Hi, everybody,

I have 1000D, ser # 3G33xxxx, 3 years old or so.

If I tune in WWV signal on 10MHz, and then switch between USB and LSB,
the tone of the signal (when there is a tone signal) is different by
approx 30 Hz. It happens with the same receiver, either main or sub,
I'm just switching USB/LSB. Between main and sub receiver, both either
USB or LSB, there is no difference. This affects dual receive mode,
like main in USB and sub in LSB listening to AM broadcast, voice
sounds funny, but adjusting one of the receivers by 30 HZ makes it

Is this normal? And if it is not -- can I adjust it somehow?

Thanks in advance for your help,

        serge, N3UXA
