[Yaesu] FT-7B keying

I have just got hold of a FT-7B.
In CW, the relay activating circuitry has some very slow action and the
first dot almost disappears in speeds around 30 wpm. Is there any ready-made
solution for this?
I believe there was something called "Fox Tango modifications" some years
back. Is this material avaliable on the net?
