The FT-200 was made in the mid to late 70's, allegedly similar to, but more
economical than the FT-101. I don't believe it had 160 meters. I was
imported marketed by Henry Radio as the Tempo 1. Late 1970's QST ran ads
for the Tempo and the Fox Tango newsletter referred to it occasionally. I
recall that it was rather popular with CBers. Probably because, like the
FT-101, it was one of the few that had both 11 meters AND AM. The Tempo was
in the $400 range, while the FT-101 was in the $600 range which also
appealed to the CBer who wanted a little more radio.
