Try to find out if the tx has been limited in power following the rules of
the country it has been sold.
My ft1000mp is limited to 10 watts also, since the rules did'nt permit more
then 10 watts on 160 meters two years ago in Belgium. I am not qrv on 160,
but I know there is a strap( hardware ) to cut out which limits power t 10
Watts.
You never know and I hope this can help you.
