My FT1000D just developed a problem. I'm looking for some help here from
someone who may have experienced a similar problem, or has knowledge about
how to fix this.

Here is the situation:

The background audio has changed to become much more bass sounding. I now
have to move the SHIFT knob from it s normal 12 o'clock position to the 2
o'clock position to make the background sound normal again. The frequency
display is now incorrect, and I notice this when in USB mode. When I switch
to USB, the frequency readout is 700 hz higher than it should be, both on
transmit and receive (eg. I have to tune to 14.199.3 to hear a signal that
is actually on 14.200.0. When the freq readout says 14.199.3, I'm actually
transmitting on 14.200.0).

When in CW mode, WWV is zero beat on 10.000 mhz. When I switch to USB, I
have to retune, and zero beat occurs at 9.999.3 mhz.

Any advice here will be appreciated.
