[Yaesu] Re Yaesu MD-100a8x Microphone

Hi All,

I have a problem where my MD-100a8x microphone, it will not scan my 1000mp MKV 
on activating the left or right button, is there a menu setting in the MKV or 
should the mic just work after connecting to the radio?

Any help would be appreciated,
