Anyone have info re. the YAESU FTC-1540A, please?
A handicapped Ham neighbor needs something, anything,
on 2M and I have this YAESU FTC-1540A.
INFO NEEDED:
1. Will it run OK on 2M?
2. How to program it?
3. Mic pinout?
I also have a Kenwood TK-701S and need the same
info in case it is more suitable.
Or would swap them both, including a couple of
hand mics, for something the guy can use on 2M,
preferably with tones for repeater access. (The
TK-701S has a dip switch for tones but only one
tone may be manually set at a time.
