[Yaesu] mod

Hi Everybody:  I have a very nice FT-225RD. I would like to extend the 
frequency coverage from 140-174 so I can listen to the weather stations. I know 
there is a MOD to do it but I've searched and come up empty. Anyone out there 
know how to do it?? Is it an easy mod like removing jumpers??  Thanks in
