Connect RX ANT OUT to a splitter, connect one output of the splitter
to RX ANT IN, connect the second output of the splitter to your SDR
and turn on RX ANT (front panel).
If you use an external switch to select from among multiple RX antennas,
connect the RX ANT Out jack to one input on the external switch, connect
the output of your RX ANT switch to the splitter and outputs of the
splitter to RX ANT IN and your SDR.
Quite simply ... no modification to the rig required. Just configure
the external connections! The same information applies to all Yaesu
transceivers (or any other brand) with RX ANT Out/IN connections.

Has anyone seen or done a modification to the ft-1000mp to enable using
