SOAPBOX: Only had a few hours to operate due to commitments to my kids'
school
Annual fundraiser and soccer games on Saturday, but did get a few hours in
with my 8 year old son assisting on Sunday. He would look up the countries
on his globe as we worked them. All he talks about now is "talking" to
someone on the radio. We'll see how his interest stays when my favorite CW
comes around. I'll bet he's one of the few kids in the 2nd grade to know
where Mayotte and Svalbard are!
Never heard one of my FCG compatriots, not even on 10 ground wave.
I followed all the rules and didn't cheat.
