Comments:
Excellent conditions here made for a very enjoyable contest. I scored a
personal best, making 24 more qsos than my last LP attempt two years ago. I
missed MAR and QC for the sweep. A late-developing noise problem on a power
pole a block away to the east forced me to use ANC-4 noise cancellers on both
radios, but they did an excellent job, knocking the S9+ noise down to almost
nothing. All of my antennas are homebrew and hang from very tall fir trees on
the perimeter of my suburban lot.
