Set up Field Day style on the backyard picnic table with umbrella. Started an
hour late and the bands seemed pretty weak. Enjoyed the nice day until the
showers started. By the 3rd shower I decided it was time to move back in the
house. Good thing because the 4th shower was heavy.
Towards late afternoon 20M seemed to pick up and I had several hours of fairly
good rates while running. This included a TF followed up directly by a 4S7! This
is only the 2nd 4S7 station I've worked from my station in 15+ years of
hamming.
Switching computers from the laptop used while outside to the desktop used
while inside messed up the logs a bit which I'm now trying to recover.
Unfortunately I've got the dreaded html mail disease so I can't put posts on CT
User. In a nutshell I am unable to B2R9 and R2B9 again with the IARU log
(CT9.65). Anyone else having a problem doing this?
Overall a serious effort is out of the question for this contest until they
create a low power category, but it still was good fun.
