Comments:
Last minute preparations got the tower shunt feed setup 1 hour before the
contest started. Wanted to get on and make some Q's for the Club. Was
extremely suprized to actually hold frequency and run stations with only 500
watts of power from the AL 811 Ameritron. Stateside activity was extremely
good. Highlight of the contest was making over 1000 Q's with not being able to
put in a full time effort, and having DX stations NH7O, GM4YXI, GM3WOJ, V47KP,
and VP5DX call me on my run frequency.
