Equipment Description: TS850/ALPHA 78 HB 4ELEMENT @ 40 FEET
Soap Box:
Conditions seemed to be better on first day with much more activity.
Staked out 28.004 around 1050z Saturday morning and ran about 900+ Qs
on that frequency in about 7 1/2 hours before moving to do some S&P.
Finished Saturday with only DC and LA to work for WAS/CW and bagged a
couple of each on Sunday ,Second consecutive year that I managed WAS
in 1999 missed ME wonder how long these good 10 meter conditions can last?
About 100 Qs short of last years total, same number of sections but three
more countries about 50k points difference.
No JA runs from here managed to log a few but had to do
some serious S&P To get this mult.
Break from Contests for a while,Happy Chanukah, Ramadan, Kwanzaa,
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year etc etc to all
